The Bible, which is the inspired word of God holds true that there is only One true and living God. He exists as 3 persons - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. From the beginning we see God, Elohim existing as The Father, God the Son and the Spirit of God (Genesis 1:1).
After God became flesh in the person of His only begotten Son, Jesus The Messiah, the Apostle John wrote "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." (John 1:1-2).
The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Colossian church wrote this about Jesus - "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist." (Colossians 1:15).
