Our Services

At TLC, we meet every Sunday for Church in-person at 10am (family & kids). We also meet in person for Friday Night Prayer Services 8pm while our All Night Prayer Service takes place on the last Friday of every month 8:30 pm

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WORSHIP WITH US

HOW LONG IS OUR SERVICE?

Our Church service at TLC is about 2hrs in length. It begins with worshippers leading the church in music – song lyrics are provided so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, we pray and then have one of our pastors come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT TLC?

Sunday’s at TLC are exciting and powerful. Come as you are and expect to feel welcome. We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational, dynamic church family who love and honor God and care for people. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit, the uncompromising Word of God as written in the Bible, and prayer.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We believe God, because every child is a precious gift from The LORD (Psalm 127:3-5). Join us for in person at our 10am Sunday gathering. Your kids are in great hands with our loving and caring teachers, Led by Pastor Elikem. Your kids will love our children ministry - Royal Treasures.

DO I NEED TO BE SAVED?

All humanity have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Those who have sinned need to be saved because sin separates us from God and leads to death. When we receive salvation from God through Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven, we are reconciled with Him and receive eternal life (John 3:16-17).

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

Our ministry of the Intercessors led by Minister Shelly-Ann Gayle invokes the power and intervention of God. "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations" In following His teaching, we often couple our prayers with fasting according to the Lord Jesus's words "when you fast..." (Matthew 6:16).

Worship Ministry

Our Worship Ministry, led by Pastor Penelope Poyah believes in giving heart-felt jubilant praise and sincere worship to The LORD. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4: 23-24). True worship is a sweet and pleasing aroma to God through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:5).

Usher & Hospitality Ministry

The Usher and Hospitality ministry led by Minister Grace Asiedu, serves those who come to the house of The LORD with warmth and honor (James 2:2-13). It is truly a joy to usher the people of God into the house of The LORD, into His presence and minister to their needs.

Youth Ministry: TLY-Connect

Our Youth ministry led by Juliet Mawusi, seeks to serve and equip young people who are facing a challenging world and real life issues. We believe in love and the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to reach the lost and hurting and transform lives.

Evangelism & Outreach

Every disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ is commissioned of God to share the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ and make disciples of The Lord. This is the great commission and is expected as a ministry for every disciple of God.

Media Ministry

The TLC Halifax Media Team shares our messages through a variety of communication channels including our social media platforms, internet, radio and printed material. The Media Team welcomes interested individuals to contact the team leaders Juliet Mawusi and Stanley Ankrah.
